...and they're snogging off camera too!
You've got to hand it to Mr Danesh. After casting pretty model Jacqui Ainsley in his video for debut single Colourblind he ended up dating her for over a year. Now, after persuading Hollywood actress Natasha Henstridge to star in his latest video, she's fallen for him in real life too.
After 18 months away from the music scene Darius is back and has just finished filming his steamiest video yet. heat was invited for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the shoot for his new single Kinda Love, and we saw everything he got up to on and off camera.
Set in Spain, the video was filmed in different locations including sand dunes, a forest and a moonlit beach. It also includes a fantasy sequence where Darius snogs stunning Natasha in a blue car.
Natasha's involvement was a dream come true for Darius, who begged his record company to ask her to play his love interest. "I'd seen her in Species and The Whole Nine Yards and thought she was beautiful," says the singer. After a business meeting between the pair at an LA restaurant in June, Darius was hooked. "We've got amazing chemistry together," he revealed to heat, "She's the funniest girl I've ever met."
Darius is reluctant to say they're "officially" an item, but admits it's only because he doesn't quite know where he stands. "I've seen a lot of her while she's been in the UK but she lives in LA so it's difficult," he says.
But worry not Darius, the admiration certainly seems to be mutual. Whenever the cameras stopped rolling Nat couldn't keep her hands off the Scot - shading him with her umbrella when the sun got too hot and taking pictures of him with her camera. heat even spotted the pair disappearing into the forest for some "quality time" together.
Singer's saucy video romp in bed on a beach
SCOTS star Darius Danesh romps with his gorgeous new flame on a giant sand dune.
The hunky singer was shooting his latest video in southern Spain when things got hot and steamy with girlfriend Natasha Henstridge.
They were filming on a deserted beach near Costa de la Luz.
After going for a walk in the surf, he climbs on to a bed and passionately kisses the blonde actress.
Darius started dating Canadian Natasha, who starred with Bruce Willis in The Whole Ten Yards, after he met her while recording in Los Angeles. He dumped his then girlfriend, model Jacqui Ainsley, and moved Natasha into his London flat. She agreed to star in his video and the couple made the most of their time together in the Spanish sun.
Despite telling people they are just friends, the pair continued kissing and caressing each other long after the director called 'cut'.
Darius has been in Los Angeles for most of the year working on his second album, the follow-up to his double platinum debut album Drive In.
His new single will be released in October but he hasn't revealed its title.
Despite the obvious distractions, Darius insists his mind is on his work.
He said: 'I feel blessed to have these opportunities and I'm focused on enjoying this process.'
DARIUS DANESH is so smitten with actress lover NATASHA HENSTRIDGE that he even got her into bed for his new video.
The singer, who came third in the first Pop Idol series, was filming new single Kinda Love on a Spanish beach — with a double bed installed on the sands.
My snapper spotted the pair snuggling up between shots. Kinda Love is due out in October.
Pop star Bryan McFadden had a lark in the park last night - now he wants you to join in the fun.
The former Westlife singer was one of the stars at Foxy and Tom's Big Bash in Hull's East Park. Hundreds of Grimsby-area music fans were among the 20,000 crowd cheering the likes of Ronan Keating, Darius, Blue and Girls Aloud.
And after Brian had wooed the audience, he called on the good folk of North East Lincolnshire to come to Grimsby's People's Park on Sunday.
The Grimsby Telegraph's Park Pride extravaganza runs between 11am and 5pm and Bryan said: "Everyone should get involved in raising community spirit.
"Park Pride is a fantastic idea and I fully support it.
"People should take pride in their surroundings, from clearing litter to picking up dog mess.
"Every little bit you do counts," he said.
Ronan Keating, who left boyband Boyzone four years ago and rose to international fame, singing with Lulu and more recently Leanne Rimes, headlined the concert, performing an hour-long set to a cheering crowd.
Up-and-coming acts VS, Candice and Freefaller also got to showcase their talents, while teenagers' favourite Blue sent the youngsters wild.
Pop Idol Darius Danesh, who will soon be releasing his new single Kind of Love, was thrilled to perform in front of thousands of fans from North East Lincolnshire and beyond.
He told the Telegraph: "The crowd was brilliant - I could not have asked for more and I was very relieved."

Darius was positively relishing in the atmosphere.
"I had been nervous coming back but I was blown away," he said. "The energy was amazing. I just wanted to pull someone up on stage and give them a big hug. Because Hull's a bit out of the way whenever we come here you get such a warm welcome."
A SHOWCASE waterfront rock concert in Liverpool has been cancelled due to torrential rain.
Organisers last night said a week of atrocious weather had affected ticket sales of the Waterfront Rock concert, one of three events due to form the city's Waterfront Weekend between September 3 and 5.
A classical concert and comedy evening will still go ahead, but they have both been moved from the Pier Head to the Philharmonic Hall.
Only 500 of 4,500 tickets for the Waterfront Rock event, which was due to have former S Club singer Rachel Stevens and Pop Idol's Darius Danesh headlining on September 4, were sold. Last night, engineers said the prospect of more driving rain looked set to hamper their efforts to assemble the stage and arena, meaning the show could not go ahead.
The 500 people who paid between £16.50 and £27.50 for concert tickets will have their money refunded later this week.
Jason Harborow, commercial and tourism director for the Liverpool Culture Company, said: "The long-range forecast shows there is little prospect of a great improvement in the bleak weather conditions.
"It really has been an awful summer - erecting the arena and getting bums on seats when the heavens are opening is proving too difficult.
"We have made this decision now to minimise any future disruption.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused, but believe that in the circumstances this is the only possible solution."
The rock concert was due to be a celebration of radio station Radio City's 30th birthday.
A Radio City spokesman last night declined to comment.
The classical concert featuring the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, pop group The Farm and singer Marc Almond will be held in the Philharmonic Hall on September 3.
A comedy night featuring Julian Clary and Jo Brand will be held at the same venue on September 5.
So far, 550 tickets have been sold for the comedy night and 1,300 for the classical concert.
Mick Elliott, RLPO chief executive, said: "The Phil will be staging a great range of free events throughout September 5 too as part of its annual open day, including cartoon screenings, concerts, workshops and tours.
"The classical concert with the RLPO in their home venue with special guests The Farm and Marc Almond, plus the comedy night means there's still a great weekend of entertainment to look forward to."
We've seen some odd pairings in our time but these two beat the lot. Jamiroquai hellraiser Jay Kay's new partner-in-crime is none other than cheesy crooner Darius.
In the festival's VIP bar, the wannabe Pop Idol told us he'd been working on his second album in LA.
"I was living in the Mondrian hotel with Jay Kay for a month and we became the best of pals," he revealed.
"One day I told him I fancied going for a drive and he just went out and bought this amazing vintage Cadillac."
However, being with mischievous Jay does have its drawbacks. "We were in the really trendy Sky bar and there was one girl I really fancied and wanted to impress.
"I was carrying two mojito cocktails over to her, trying to look all cool. But Jay ran up behind me and chucked me headfirst into the pool - in all my clothes."
And the 24-year-old's prospects didn't improve at the festival. Despite turning up with stunning actress Natasha Henstridge, he claimed to be single and told us he "really likes Jamelia".
But sadly for Darius, when we told Jamelia, she replied: "That's nice but he's really not my type." Can't say we didn't try.

Down Royal Racecourse have announced they will stage a concert to coincide with the first-ever Sunday meeting at the venue on Sunday September 12.
Following the six race meeting, Darius and girl group The 411, whose new record Dumb is released this week will take to the stage at Down Royal.
Organisers say the concert on Stanleybet Race Day "will provide the province`s public with an exceptional double bill at no extra cost with the track charging just their standard admission price for the race meeting and concert."
As well as the concert, race organisers promise an array of family fun including a Bungee Run, Surf Simulator, juggling Jockeys and a Bouncy Castle for the kids.
Down Royal Manager Mike Todd said the aim is to provide the ultimate in entertainment and fun at the first Sunday fixture at the course.
FORMER S Club singer Rachel Stevens and Pop Idol star Darius have both confirmed for Liverpool's Waterfront Weekend festival.
The event will feature top classical, pop and comedy nights. Both stars will be at the celebration of 30 years of Radio City on Saturday, September 4.
The three-day Pier Head festival, starting on Friday, September 3, follows the success of last year's concert by the Liverpool Philharmonic, which drew 4,500. This year, the Phil will be joined by Liverpool band The Farm, re-formed after the re-release of Altogether Now.
Southport-born Marc Almond will take part in the same classical concert on the Friday.
Sunday will see a comedy night in association with Rawhide Comedy Club featuring Julian Clary and Jo Brand.
SANDWICHED between Phixx's 1980s electronica-inspired act and Girls Aloud's funky pop, Darius must have felt a bit out of place, standing there holding an acoustic guitar. The Scotsman is more at home strumming his strings than singing sets full of synthesised sounds and funky rhythms. But, thankfully for the pop fans at the Galpharm Stadium, he did not give a `traditional' acoustic performance - strumming away quietly along, singing serious songs.
In fact, thanks to his excellent backing band, Darius used his guitar more as a prop than an instrument while he delivered the upbeat, happy pop that the roaring crowd had come to see. Full of energy, Darius bounded on stage to be greeted by a roar from the high-spirited audience. The first of four guitar-led feelgood tracks, Rushes, went down well with the spectators.
Darius dedicated his next song, Incredible, to the crowd, saying : "This one's all about you." The energetic songs continued, with Dive In, the title track from Darius' debut album which went platinum in 2002.
Then came the obligatory romantic slow song, Girl In The Moon. Female hands shot up all over the stadium when the tall, dark, handsome one asked: "Who wants to come on stage and be my Girl In The Moon?" He chose a lucky little girl - known only as Becky - who relished in sitting high on stage in front of 12,000 spectators as Darius crooned his romantic number. The track finished and as Darius hugged his little fan sighs of "aww" echoed round the stadium.
To round off the show, Darius returned to an upbeat track. The crowd sang along loudly with Colourblind, his best-known song, with which he made his debut in 2001.
The only disappointment in a great performance was the lack of new material. This was down to Darius's record company keeping his new album firmly under wraps until its release in October. However, fans don't have to wait too long to hear Darius's latest stuff. His new single comes out in September.
Darius reckons his new album is so different to anything he's ever done that he's even surprised himself. The Scottish 23-year-old has spent the bulk of his recording time in America working with people who've twiddled knobs for Christina Aguilera. Somehow I don't expect we'll see the strapping lad in chaps writhing around proclaiming to be dirty. But as he didn't perform any new material at a gig over the weekend, I reckon he's something up his sleeve for the release on September 20. So long as it's not the return of the Popstars beard.
