Scots singer Darius has split from his girlfriend and is dating a saucy Canadian actress.
The 24 year old chart topper - motto: Can you feel the love? - has broken up with stunning model Jacqui just weeks after the pair vowed to stay together for life.
Jacqui, 22, has packed her bags and moved out of the couple's luxury top floor flat in central London.
Darius, answering the door in a towel and boxer shorts, said " Yes, Jacqui and I have split." He refused to be drawn on his fling with sexy Natasha Henstridge but insisted he and Jacqui are still pals.
Charmer Darius has lost no time in finding a new playmate in Natasha who made her name in the erotic thriller Species. As recently as February Jacqui told how Darius was her perfect man.
Jacqui, who was in the James Bond film Die Another Day, said: "There was an immediate attraction between us."
Darius was mocked by critics for his Pop Idol debut when he strolled into view and said "Can you feel the love?"
Singer Darius Danesh star of TVs Pop idol -told yesterday of his concern for his father who is being treated in hospital for lymphatic cancer. Darius 24 visited dad Booth at the National hospital for Neurology in London. Last night he said Im very worried we are awaiting his test results. No wonder D is out of the public eye
DARIUS Danesh loved his time in La La Land - but he assures us he's very happy to be back home.
"I've been working on my album in LA - it's a great place but it's always good to come back," the Scottish crooner told us at the launch of our photographer Richard Young's fantastic 15 Minutes Exhibition in London's hip venue The Hospital.
"I've been hanging out with Daniel Bedingfield over there, but I couldn't believe it when I bumped into Robert De Niro in a cafe. I was so starstruck."
We're quite sure he says the same thing.
Today, in the 14th year of Scotland's People's Oscars, past winners and supporters lined up to add their support to Great Scot 2004 and tell us what the awards meant to them.
Darius, Music Award winner 2002
I'VE been lucky enough to attend the Great Scots awards a couple of times now and even got to win the music prize in 2002.
But for me the real privilege has been listening to the bravery and determination of so many of our unsung heroes.
People like disabled climber Jamie Andrew remind us all of the great power of the Scottish spirit. It is the same with the stories of disabled swimmer Mhairi Love, and Eileen Campbell, who works tirelessly for the homeless.

NO wonder Darius Danesh is smiling.
The hunky Scots singer looks like the cat who got the cream as he enjoys a dinner date with gorgeous Canadian actress Natasha Henstridge.
The pair enjoyed dinner at the trendy Los Angeles restaurant Mr Chows before heading off together by car.
Darius has vowed to remain faithful to his model girlfriend Jacqui Ainsley, who he shares a flat with in London.
The dashing Colourblind singer has claimed he is not tempted by the stunning women he comes into contact with.
But he looks perfectly in tune with the blonde actress whose film hits include The Whole Ten Yards as they stroll together from the posh restaurant.
A body language expert would have a field day with Darius and Natasha as they seem truly in step with each other.
He said: 'I'm faithful to my girlfriend.
'I find it easier than people might believe in regards to the job I have because that's who I am and that's how I've been brought up.'
Darius is in Los Angeles working on the follow-up to his double platinum debut album Dive In.
The singer kept tight-lipped about the latest batch of his songs.
He said: 'I feel very blessed to have these opportunities as a songwriter and a singer and to be able to travel.
'I'm focused on enjoying this growing, creating process.'
And hanging out with Natasha looks to be another perk of his job.
But let's hope the singer hasn't seen her in the sci-fi thriller Species and it's sequel Species II.
The actress plays half-human, half-alien Sil, a beautiful woman who can change into an armour-plated killing machine in the blink of an eye.
Mercenaries must track her down before she manages to find a mate to breed
