Hello!
Cosmo Girl
Prize Question - If you were to write a lonely hearts ad what would it say? Linda Elliott, Peterborough
Tall, dark and…well, two out of three ain't bad! Searching for a girl of extremes, shy or confident, petite or voluptuous, to share honesty, great dinner dates and endless nights of passion.[laughs]
If you had three wishes what would you ask for? Stephanie law, Greenham
I'd love to do a duet with Shakira cos she's a babe. I'd also buy my parents a villa in Italy. Finally, I'd be fed tropical fruit salad by a naked woman every morning!
Any truth in the rumours that you have a very large todger? Tina Stevens, London
[Laughs]. A gentleman never tells, but I haven't had any complaints!
You singing Britney's … Baby One More Time will never be forgotten. Was that your most embarrassing moment ever? Sasha Dillon, Peterborough
Oh, I can top that! On tour I do an on-stage change behind a screen. When I was in Ireland one night I didn't realise that people in the top tier of the theatre could see me - and I don't wear underwear! I then got a letter from a woman saying she'd had to fan her elderly mother down and explain to her daughter what a man's bits were! I wholeheartedly apologise to her.
You're clearly made of strong stuff, doing Pop Idol after Popstars. Is this due to your relationship with your parents? Kelly McKee, Edinburgh
It's a bit of nurture and nature. I'm lucky to come from a loving family, but I've also strived from a young age to achieve my dream. I've always pushed myself.
Are you glad you didn't make the band in Popstars? Ingrid Maddox, Surrey
We all know the answer to that.
Are you single at the moment? Terri Peters, Croydon
Um, yes. I was seeing someone, but it's difficult settling down at this stage in my life. I met a girl at one of my Dublin tour dates and I hope to call her when I get a chance.
Where do you live and why? Tori Barratt, Co Durham
I'm officially a Celtic gypsy and I live out of a little army bag at the moment. When I'm on tour, the bus becomes my home - that's rock'n'roll. I'm in the process of finding a place in London, but my base will always be Glasgow.
Do you have any pets? Grace Shaw, Staines
I'd love a kitten, but it would be cruel as I'm away a lot. The most appropriate pet I could have is a monkey, like Marcel from Friends. So if there are any members of Marcel's family out there who fancy a rock'n'roll lifestyle, call me.
You made the Pop Idol finals because Rik Waller pulled ut due to a sore throat. Do you have a lot to thank him for? Louisa Johns, Redbridge
[Laughs.] That's one of the funniest questions I've heard. Rik knew exactly what he was doing and when he pulled out of the show he avoided being tied into a contract. He certainly didn't do it for my benefit.
I really liked your ponytail. Any chance you'll grow it back? Christine Major, Wapping
You're more likely to see me covering Unchained Melody!
You're half Iranian - how has your Persian side influenced you musically? Nichola Evans, London
It's had a major effect on me and I'll try to use it more in future. If you liked Rushes, you were bopping your head to ethnic influences.
What does your name mean? Joanne parish, St Ives
It mans "a good man".
Do the gay rumours upset you? Eloise Peters, Stevenage
What gay rumours? I'm having the best time of my life right now and if people think you're gay because you're shagging beautiful women, that's funny.
Are you in touch with anyone from Popstars or Pop Idol? Caroline McKay, Glasgow
Yes, I speak to Will, Gareth and Liberty X. I also spoke to [Pop Idol finalist] Jessica Garlick recently.
Of all the stars to come out of reality pop shows, whose music do you most admire? Corinne Matthews, Oldham
Liberty X. I love Just A Little. I've danced to it, showered to it and done other naughty things to it…
What's the last CD you bought? Kerry Andrews, Birmingham
Elephant by The White Stripes - wicked album
Would you ever go on one of those reality TV shows like I'm A Celebrity… or Celeb Big Brother? How would you fare in the jungle? Sarah Johnson, Portsmouth
No! I was asked to do Celebrity Big Brother, but it's not what I want to do. I'd do it for a laugh if no one was going to see it, but that defeats the purpose, doesn't it? I'm a Leo, so I'd definitely have coped in the jungle because we're the lions of the zodiac.
What can't you ever leave home without? Michelle Cole, London
My mobile. I send pics of myself on tour to my little brother Cyrus.
Can you tell me about your most treasured memory? Shoali Masiria, London
The first night my mum came home after giving birth to Cyrus. She was exhausted and passed out, but he wouldn't go to sleep. It was about 4am and his little eyes were wide open. He grabbed hold of my nose and wouldn't let go. I started humming and he fell asleep on my chest. When I woke up he was still holding my nose.
Who were the last three people you called on your mobile? Gillian Meese, Bromley
A girl, my tour manager Johnny and London's Click nightclub.
What's your favourite website? Amber Newman, Chingford
Popbitch is the best site around - there's lots of great gossip on it and so much of it is true!
What's your favourite place for a wild night out? Laura Tew, London
The best nights out are the ones with your best mates which aren't planned. It doesn't matter where you go, but when you're in good company you always end up having a brilliant time.
Are you still in touch with all your old friends from home? Sabrina McDowell, Glasgow
Yes, I see my mates whenever I can. It's very difficult keeping in touch with people I went to school with, but some of them recently turned up for the Scottish leg of my tour, which was brilliant.
Do you think you'll still be around in five years' time? Jenny Strong, London
I hope so, as long as the rock'n'roll excess I'm indulging in hasn't killed me by then! Apart from that I've got every intention of sticking around. I'm lucky because I've got a five-album deal. I look at people like Robbie Williams and see how I need to do things.
