Hello!
Cosmo Girl
Darius pours out his heart to our Kim as he shoots the video for his next single.
What girl could resist the offer to appear in a music video with a tall dark handsome man ? especially when that man's Darius Danesh and he's giving you the chance to take part in the video the chance to take part in the video for his single live twice being made in Malaga.
Arriving at the spanish set at 8am a smouldering Darius in a smart suit offers me a welcoming kiss at our first location of the day, the steps of a beautiful cathedral.
Live twice is a ballad Darius 24 penned for his father booth who has been diagnosed with terminal cancer.
The emotion as he sings the track to camera is evident tears fill Darius eyes mine to
It's hard not to admire his bravery in opening his heart over such an intensley personal subject
Darius tells me it;'s an emotional song i never though i would record it so making the video is surreal it's a song for anyone who has lost someone or is about to
The mood lightens when darius co star arrives and this is some co star no it's not a stunning model or an actress
This time round a dashing white horse is joining him on screen - the same one Brad Pitt rode in the block-buster Troy.
Darius is in awe, gently patting the animal to make it comfortable before shooting a scene in which he chases the steed down a side street.
When we break for lunch Darius takes me by the hand to meet the horse. He says with a grin: "I've nicknamed him Steve the stallion. He's been telling me Brad's beauty secrets!"
Next it's my big scene. The make-up artist powders my nose as I prepare to play a tabloid reporter chasing Darius for an interview. No acting required then!
Meanwhile Darius takes time out to call his dad on his mobile. The singer fills booth in on the day's events and gently asks how he is feeling. Those tears are welling up in me again, or maybe it's just the mascara.
Cameras rolling I take my position alongside two actors posing as a telly reporter and a camera man. The deal is that Darius will later be superimposed as though he's walking through us ghost-like.
I block out the crowd and surprise myself by really getting in to the role. I am delighted when Darius rushes over with a hug and kiss telling me how well I did. What a gent.
Next we need to film more shots of Darius in an area dubbed crack ally by the local film crew as it's a bit dodgy.
Kids hang out the windows and flick Darius the v Sign He thinks it's funny and plays them at their own game.
Our final destination is the school where picasso was taught.
A girl plays a violin in one shot and Darius is amazed that she has already learned the tune to Live Twice, the title track of his latest album released last week.
He tells me: "Writing this song made me realise that success is not measured by your position in life, but the obstacles you overcome. It's me saying I would give up everything to be with someone I love."
Talking of love, he says tales of him and Geri Halliwell are nonsense.
"She is a good mate we have not snogged. We have shared awareness of cancer. I am single and my preference is just having chemistry with someone."
So after dating the 2 girls who've starred in his videos... if you fancy making it a third time lucky Darius you know where to find me. I was better at biology at school than chemistry though!
Live Twice is released on 13 December by Mercury Records
