The towering Scotsman has successfully transformed himself into a credible crooner/choonwriter-cum-bona fide heartthrob wih a new top ten single.

WHAT IS THE MOST UNUSUAL THING YOU HAVE BEEN SENT BY A FAN?
I've been sent a CD of karaoke versions of my own songs, a guitar and a chess set with mine, Gareth Gates' and Will Young's faces on the pieces.
HAVE YOU EVER BEEN STAR STRUCK?
Yes I met Seal in Los Angeles and he has alays influenced my songwriting. He was very gracious and invited me for a drink with him at his hotel.

These Words by Natasha Bedingfield - it's fantastic and reminds me of when I was going through my song writer's block.

I would love to tell you but discretion is the key word in this business.
WHO IS YOUR STYLE ICON?
I'll tell you who I've noticed recently - Jude Law. He has effortless style. I met him a couple of weeks ago too.
DO YOU HAVE A FAVOURITE CHAT UP LINE?
No they dont work. I just get eye contact and smile. It's the best way.
WHAT YOUR IDEA OF A GREAT NIGHT IN?
Spending time with someone you love, whether it's yoru girlfriend., family or just a friend, a warm fire, a good meal and nice music in the background.
DO YOU EVER MISS YOUR GOATEE?
No I say never look back.
ARE YOU THE MOST HANDSOME MAN IN POP?
You would not say that if you saw me this morning - I was at the other end of the scale. I would say I am the tallest!
